The guys at FPV Model have been working hard to improve our favourite flight controller, and they have finally released the XRacer F303 V3.
On our upcoming review of the F303 we picked out the lack of a gyro with the SPI Interface as its main drawback. However after this update, they have changed the gyro to a MPU6000, and used the SPI Gyro Interface. This enables the user to run 8GHz looptime. The higher looptime means the flight controller runs more ‘loops’ per second, where it does the PID math and checks what command the receiver is sending. By making more calculations a second, it can reduce or even eliminate unwanted flight characteristics such as prop wash wobbles. All in all making your flights better.
This move is sure to put pressure on the Motolab Cyclone, which costs $7 more than the $29.99 that the XRacer F303 V3 is retailing for.
