It seems that many motor manufacturers are starting to realise that we can get more power without extra weight through higher KV motors and it’s what the community has been crying out for.

In an attempt to try and compete with increasing competition from manufacturers such as EMAX with their new Race edition motors and RCX with their 2205s. Lumenier are trying to stay in the game with these special edition motors.

Though these motors do seem impressive and, like clothes, the designer name associated with them should give a boost in sales. We do wonder here at Drone Insider whether these are priced competitively enough to compete with the new and cheaper players in the market. Especially as most of these high end motors are made in the same factories as EMAX, RCTimer and RCX, and the gains are merely marginal.
